In this case, the owners of a Honda Odyssey discovers early one morning that their minivan is missing, and two branches of law enforcement team up to recover it assisted by the LoJack® System.

On April 11th, 2013, the Odyssey’s owners contacted the Federal Heights, CO Police to report that their vehicle was stolen overnight. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Honda, which was installed at Frontier Honda in Longmont, CO.

A short while later, an officer with Commerce City PD and deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office picked up the homing signals from the Honda with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the vehicle to 58th and Downing where they stopped the stolen van and arrested one person. The van was safely returned to the very happy owners.
