It’s often mentioned on this blog how the LoJack® system works in all LoJack coverage areas, no matter where it was installed. In this case, a LoJack unit originally installed in Massachusetts helps Denver, CO police quickly recover a stolen Lexus RX 330

On February 25th, 2013, the owners of the RX330 contacted the Denver police to report that their vehicle was stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into their state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Lexus, which was installed at Lexus of Watertown, MA.

A short while later, officers with the Denver PD and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers tracked the Lexus to Williams Street where it was recovered, and soon returned to its grateful owners.
