It was March 19, 2013, only 2 days after St. Patrick’s Day, but this owner of a Dodge Ram seemed to have run out of luck when he awoke to find his truck missing from in front of his residence where he had parked it the night before.  The distraught owner contacted the 61st Precinct in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, to report the theft, and, once the police had input the vehicle’s information, the LoJack® device, which was installed upon purchase at Merrick Dodge in Merrick , Long Island, was activated.

A short while later, officers from the 94th precinct picked up the Ram’s LoJack  signal on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol car. They were able to track the vehicle in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, and soon returned the truck to its relieved owner, who felt lucky indeed to get it back in excellent condition with no damage.
