On June 2nd the owners of a 2002 Honda Accord contacted the Denver Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. Denver officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle;s information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Accord.

A short while later, officers with the Aurora Police Department picked up the silent LoJack homing signals from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack PTC’s the officers tracked the vehicle to Mississippi and Potomac where the vehicle was recovered and safely returned to the owners.

The LoJack Vehicle Recovery System was installed in this Honda in December 2001 at GO Honda.
