The owners of a 2017 Jaguar XF contacted the San Diego Police Department to report their vehicle stolen in the city of San Diego. San Diego Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Jaguar.

Within twenty-three minutes, officers from San Diego Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Jaguar XF with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 3700 block of Oneida Place in the city of San Diego.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Jaguar XF in July 2016 at San Diego Motor Cars LTD., San Diego, California.
