LoJack System Helps Henry County Police Recover 2004 Lexus

The owners of a 2004 Lexus reported the theft of their Vehicle from their driveway to Henry County Police. Henry County Police verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the Silent LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.

Henry County Police Officers picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lexus with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from his PTC, the Officer tracked the vehicle to a residential area.

The vehicle was being driven at the time and occupied by three males. Units began an attempt to stop the vehicle and the vehicle failed to stop. A short chase began and the vehicle was brought to a stop in a cul de sac of the neighborhood. All three subjects were taken into custody without injury or further damage. The vehicle was returned to the victim and the investigation continues on the three suspects and additional crimes they are alleged to have committed while in the stolen vehicle.   

The LoJack® System was installed in the Lexus in July 2004 at Lexus of Northborough, Northborough, MA.
