The owners of a 2019 Toyota Tundra reported to Clayton County Police their residence burglarized and their vehicle stolen. Once Clayton County Police verified the theft, they entered the vehicle’s information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota Tundra.

After being entered as stolen Officers from College Park Police and Clayton County Police picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Tracking Computers (PTC’s) that are installed in their vehicles and Air Units. Following the directional and audible signals issuing from the stolen Toyota the vehicle was located a short time later parked in an apartment complex unoccupied.

The vehicle was recovered and returned to the owner. The owner had just purchased the vehicle the day before. Police are hoping evidence recovered in the vehicle when recovered will lead to a suspect and arrest.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota in April 2019, at Atlanta Toyota, Duluth, Ga.
