The owner of a 2015 Cadillac ATS contacted the Santa Ana Police department to report their vehicle stolen.  Santa Ana PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Cadillac.

An hour later officers from Santa Ana PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Cadillac to an open commercial area.  The officers found the Cadillac unoccupied and no leads as to who may have drove it to the location. The officers recovered the Cadillac after attempting to contact the person that reported the theft.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Cadillac ATS in October 2018 at Auto Republic, Santa Ana, CA.
