The owner of a 2013 Honda Odyssey contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the area of 2900 Woodland Avenue in Baltimore City, Maryland. Baltimore City Police Radio dispatched an officer from the 5th District to investigate the incident. The officer quickly arrived on location, interviewed the complainant and surveyed the area for the subject vehicle. When the officer was unable to locate the vehicle, a stolen vehicle report was prepared. The officer entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2013 Honda.

Within minutes, flight officers from the Baltimore City Police Department Aviation Unit, “Foxtrot”, picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen 2013 Honda Odyssey with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the flight officers tracked the vehicle to 3900 Barrington Road in the Dorchester neighborhood of Baltimore City, Maryland. At this location, patrol officers observed the vehicle parked and unoccupied. The undamaged vehicle was recovered and the owner notified.

Approximate value of vehicle: $16,450.00

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2013 Honda Odyssey in June, 2013 at Anderson Honda in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
