The owner of a 2014 Audi Q3 contacted the Fort Lauderdale Police Department to report that his vehicle had been stolen.  The Fort Lauderdale Police Department verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Audi.

A short while later officers from the Davie Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen Audi with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from their PTCs, the officers tracked the vehicle to 1401 State Road 84, where the vehicle was found abandoned along “Marina Mile”.  The vehicle was taken to a local storage yard for crime scene processing and then released to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Audi Q3 in May 2018 at Braman Audi in West Palm Beach, Florida.
