LoJack System Helps Nashville Police and Tennessee Highway Patrol Recover 2008 Honda Accord Within Minutes of Activation

The owners of a 2008 Honda Accord reported the theft of their vehicle to Nashville Police. Nashville Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda Accord.

Within twenty minutes units with Helicopters from Nashville Metro Police and Tennessee Highway Patrol picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from their PTCs, the Officers tracked the vehicle in Nashville. The Air units working together with ground units located the vehicle unattended and recovered it, returning it to its owner with no damage in less than one hour after it was reported stolen.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda in October 2008 at Crest Honda in Nashville.
