The owners of a 2011 Cadillac Escalade contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from the 1200 block of Shadow Mountain Place.  The Cadillac had been parked in front of their residence and locked up for the night.  When the owners went to use it the following day they found the Cadillac missing so they notified the police.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Cadillac.

Three minutes later officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a residential neighborhood near the intersection of Clearview and McMillan where they located the Cadillac unoccupied.  The Cadillac was recovered undamaged and returned back to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Cadillac Escalade in December 2011 at Cadillac West, Las Vegas, Nevada.
