The owners of a Chrysler 300 contacted the Lakewood PD to report that their vehicle had been stolen.  A police officer verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the vehicle.

Short while later Denver PD officers picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from their PTCs, the officer tracked it to the 900 block of South Dahlia Street.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler in May of 2009 at The Faricy Boys Chrysler Jeep in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the request of a previous owner.
