The owner of a 2005 Dodge Ram contacted the Henderson Police Department to report that her vehicle had been stolen from her Henderson residence.  The owner had an estranged boyfriend who stole her title and forged it, then took it to DMV to obtain a new title in his name.  The boyfriend then came to her residence and forcefully took the Dodge.

Henderson Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

A short while later a vehicle equipped with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft picked up the silent signal from the Dodge.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the signal was tracked and the vehicle was located in a condominium development at the intersection of Gruff Huff and Bristol Canyon.  When the Dodge was located, the Henderson Police Department were notified and they responded to that location where they were able to track down the suspect and arrest him for the theft.  The Dodge was then recovered and returned back to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Dodge Ram in October 2013 at Friendly Ford, Las Vegas, Nevada.
