During inventory the dealer representative observed a 2013 Cadillac Escalade missing from the dealer lot. Further investigation revealed the keys to the Escalade were also missing. The owners contacted the Jersey Village Police Department to report that their Cadillac stolen.  The Jersey Village PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Cadillac.

A short while later a State Trooper picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the trooper tracked the Cadillac to a large apartment complex on Hafer Road where the vehicle was parked and abandoned.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Cadillac Escalade in April 2015 at Lone Star Chevrolet in Houston, Texas.
