The owner of this Jeep Cherokee was sleeping in the back of the vehicle when he was awakened by two females who entered the unlocked car.  They took his wallet, cellphone and keys at gunpoint then drove away with the Jeep.  The crimes were immediately reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Jeep.

Less than fifteen minutes later, the Washington State Patrol troopers picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Jeep on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in their patrol cars.  Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, they located the Jeep behind a business at Occidental Avenue South and South Horton Street in Seattle.  The Jeep was abandoned and apparently not damaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2016 Jeep Cherokee in November 2016 at Enterprise Car Sales in Lakewood, Washington.
