The owner of an automotive dealership that sells luxury used vehicles called the Linden Police Department to report that one of their vehicles, a 2015 BMW 750, was missing from their inventory.

The Linden PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the BMW 750.

A short while later, detectives from the Linden PD picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen BMW with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the detectives tracked the BMW to a parking lot on Route 1 in Edison. The BMW was recovered undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2015 BMW 750 in March 2017 at Deluxe Auto Sales in Linden, New Jersey.
