The owner of a 2015 Toyota Camry called the Union Township Police Department to report that while she was stopped in traffic someone came up to her vehicle and forced her to get out. The suspect then drove off with her Toyota.

The Union Township PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota Camry.

A short while later, officers from the Union Township PD picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Toyota to Morris Ave where the vehicle was located abandoned and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2015 Toyota Camry in August 2015 at Crystal Motors in Green Brook, New Jersey.
