The owner of a 2014 Chrysler 200 contacted the Orange Police Department to report that her vehicle was stolen. The customer told the police that her Chrysler was taken from her driveway during the night while she was sleeping.

The Orange PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler 200.

A short while later, officers from the Bloomfield Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC the officers tracked the Chrysler to the parking lot of a shopping center on Bloomfield Ave where the vehicle was recovered parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2014 Chrysler 200 in September 2015 at Enterprise Car Sales in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.
