The owner of a 1997 Saturn SL1 contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. The owner advised they recently had LoJack installed in their Saturn.

The Las Vegas Metro PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Saturn.

Within an hour after the activation, troopers with the Nevada Highway Patrol, officers from the Las Vegas Metro PD and officers from North Las Vegas Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Saturn with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the North LVPD officers tracked the Saturn to a parking lot of an area casino in North Las Vegas. The officer attempted to contact the owner with negative results and towed the Saturn from the scene for safekeeping.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Saturn SL1 in April 2016 via Nevada Direct Customer.
