The owners of a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 contacted the New Orleans Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen while parked on the street in the Esplanade Ridge area of New Orleans. They attended a Mardi Gras parade and upon their return they were surprised to find the Dodge had been stolen.
The New Orleans PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

Minutes later officers from the New Orleans PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Dodge to a neighborhood in Eastern New Orleans.

The Dodge was located parked on the street in great shape. The owner was contacted and quickly reunited with their Dodge.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Dodge in March 2014 at Premier Chrysler Jeep Dodge in New Orleans, Louisiana.
