The owner of the Mazda MX6 parked his car where he normally parks it. When he came out for it in the morning he found it missing, this was in Bedford Stuyvesant confines of the 79 precinct. He immediately called the New York Police Department of the 79 precinct; Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn.

When the NYPD officers arrived, they took a written report for the stolen Mazda MX6.  This information was then entered in the city, state and federal crime computer which automatically activated the LoJack® System in the stolen Mazda.

A short while later the silent signal was picked up on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer that the police have in their vehicles. This was in the Ocean Hill Brownsville area of Brooklyn, confines of the 81precinct. The signal was tracked to a residential section of Ocean Hill. The Mazda was located parked on a residential street and the officers decided to stake it out. After a short while when no one came for the Mazda the officers took it into custody. The Mazda was recovered in good condition with no damage.

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his Mazda was recovered so quickly, especially in good condition, with no damage. He further stated that he was happy that when he purchased the Mazda it was equipped with the LoJack® System, saying he was extremely grateful for that, saying that if it wasn’t for the LoJack the Mazda may never have been recovered.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Mazda MX6 in January 2016 at Enterprise in East Elmhurst, New York.
