The owner of the Lincoln Navigator parked his vehicle where he normally parks by his house, when he got up in the morning he found it missing. This was in the Baisley Park section of Queens, confines of the 113 precinct.  He immediately called the New York Police Department of that precinct.

When the NYPD officers from the 113 precinct arrived, they took a written report for the stolen Lincoln.  This information was then entered by the NYPD in the city, state and federal crime computer which automatically activated the LoJack® System in the stolen Lincoln.

A short while later the silent signal was picked up on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer that the Police have in their vehicles. This was in the Rosedale section of Queen’s confines of the 105 Precinct. The signal was tracked to a residential section of Rosedale. The Lincoln was located parked on a residential street. The officers decided to stake it out. After a short while when no one came for the Lincoln the officers took it into custody. The Lincoln was recovered in good condition with minor damage, broken window and minor interior damage.

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his Lincoln was recovered so quickly, even though the vehicle had sustained minor damage. He further stated that he was happy that when he purchased the Lincoln, the vehicle was equipped with the LoJack® System. Further stating that if it wasn’t for LoJack the Lincoln may not have been recovered at all.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2003 Lincoln Navigator in February 2006 at Six Star Auto Sales in Richmond Hill Queens, New York.
