LoJack® System Helps Aurora Police Department Recover Stolen 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

The owners of a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro contacted the Adams County Sheriff’s Office to report that their vehicle had been stolen from North Sheridan Boulevard just before midnight.
A deputy verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Camaro.

Just before dawn an officer with the Aurora Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Camaro with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officer tracked the Camaro to an area in the 17600 block of East Smith Road where the vehicle was recovered.
It was returned to the very happy owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chevrolet Camaro in April 2013 at the request of the current owners by Ehrlich Toyota in Greeley, Colorado.
