The owners of a 2004 Honda Accord contacted the Baltimore County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home in the 7400 block Windsor Mill Road in Baltimore County, Maryland.
The Baltimore County PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda Accord.

A short while later detectives from the Regional Auto Theft Team picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda Accord with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to the 1500 block Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore City. At this location, detectives recovered the parked and unoccupied Honda.
The LoJack® System was installed in the 2004 Honda Accord in December 2003 by Northwest Honda in Owings Mills, Maryland.
