This Toyota Camry was stolen during the night from the owners residence located in the 1100 block of North 160th Street in Shoreline.

When the theft was discovered the following morning, it was reported to the Shoreline Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Camry.

A King County Sheriff’s Department deputy picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Camry was located in a parking lot of a department store at 158th & Aurora Avenue North in Shoreline.  It was abandoned and appeared undamaged.

The owner was called to the scene to take possession of the Camry.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Camry in November 2007 by Magic Toyota in Edmonds, Washington.
