The owner of a 2012 Ford Escape received an Early Warning alert from LoJack advising the owner their vehicle had been moved possibly without their consent.  The owner verified the Ford had been removed without their consent and contacted the Henderson Police Department to report the vehicle as stolen.

The Henderson PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

Within thirty minutes of the stolen vehicle entry, officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Ford and found it to be occupied.  Officers took the driver into custody and arrested for possession of the stolen Ford.  The Ford was released to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Escape in August 2014 via Nevada Direct Customer Sales.
