This Ford F350 was stolen sometime during daylight hours from the 2300 block of Auburn Way North. The owner parked the Ford there and left a set of keys in the truck for his brother who wanted to use it that day.

When the brother went to the location of the Ford and discovered it missing, the theft was reported to the Auburn Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the F350.

A King County Sheriff’s Office deputy picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen truck on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Ford was located in the 1000 block of 18th Street NE in Auburn. It was abandoned and appeared undamaged.

The owner was called to the scene to take possession of the Ford.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F350 in September 2004 by Parr Ford in Bremerton, Washington.
