LoJack® System Helps Phoenix Police Department Recover Stolen Chrysler 300

The owners of a 2005 Chrysler 300 contacted the Phoenix Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a motel parking lot.

The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

Fourteen minutes later, officers from the Glendale Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Chrysler to a neighborhood near 35th Avenue and Lewis Avenue in Phoenix.

The stolen Chrysler was found unoccupied on a side street.  The Phoenix PD officers responded and recovered the Chrysler.  The Chrysler was processed for evidence and later returned to the owners in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler 300 in May 2005 at Pro Chrysler Jeep in Thornton, Colorado.
