The owners of a 2014 Ford Focus discovered their recently purchased car stolen. They immediately contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford Focus.

Later that same evening, officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department began picking up the silent signals from the stolen Focus with their LoJack® Police Tracking Computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers’ quickly tracked the stolen car to the 6700 block of Courtney Michelle where the vehicle had been reportedly abandoned, still intact. The owner’s decision to get the LoJack® System paid off only six months later.

The LoJack® System was installed on the car on 3/4/2014 by Team Ford of Las Vegas, NV.
