LoJack® System Helps Las Vegas Police Metropolitan Police Track & Recover Stolen Acura TL

The owner of a 2008 Acura TL discovered the car stolen from their residence near 5700 block of Avenida Tampico, in Las Vegas. The owner immediately contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Acura TL.

Within minutes, officers’ with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s “Downtown Area Command” began picking up the silent signals from the stolen Acura with their LoJack® Police Tracking Computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers’ quickly tracked the stolen Acura to 11th and Fremont, Downtown Las Vegas where the vehicle was recovered reportedly abandoned, but still intact.

The LoJack® System was installed on the car on 12/03/2007 by Acura of Las Vegas, NV.
