The owners of an Acura Integra parked their car in front of their residence on a recent Wednesday evening. When they checked the next morning, the vehicle was gone. Because the Integra was protected with the LoJack® system, local law enforcement, assisted by LoJack, recovered it, without damage, that afternoon.

When the Acura was discovered missing on April 16th, 2014, its owner contacted the Vancouver Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Integra, which was installed at Tacoma Nissan in Tacoma, WA.

Later that day, a Vancouver PD officer received the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The Acura was located on NE 121st Avenue where it was found parked and abandoned. The undamaged Integra was soon returned to its grateful owners. This incident was the third time this vehicle had been stolen and recovered by police assisted by LoJack.
