The owner of a 2009 Acura TSX called Atlanta Police to report their vehicle stolen. Once Police verified the theft, they entered the vehicle’s information into the NCIC system, which automatically activated the hidden LoJack in the vehicle.

Later that same morning Officers from Atlanta Police unit picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Acura with the LoJack Tracking Computers (PTC’s) installed in their vehicles and Air Units. After searching the area where they picked up the signal, they were able to find the vehicle parked on the street of a residential neighborhood unattended. The Acura was recovered and returned to its owner in less than two hours.

The LoJack® System was installed in the vehicle in July 2008 at Island Acura in Wantagh, NY.
