LoJack System Helps the Dallas Police Dept Recover a Stolen Kubota Skid Steer

The renter
of a 2017 Kubota skid steer contacted the Dallas Police Dept to report that the
skid steer had been stolen. The renter left the skid steer overnight at a job
site and when they returned they found it missing. The Dallas Police Dept verified the theft and
entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers
which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Kubota.
A short while later officers from the Dallas Police Dept picked up the silent
LoJack signal from the stolen Kubota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers
(PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues
from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Kubota to the 2200 block of
E Ledbetter, where they found it abandoned behind a grocery store. The
Kubota was recovered in good condition.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Kubota skid steer in February 2018.
