The owner of a 2017 Honda Accord contacted the San Pablo Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from in front of their apartment complex in the 1300 block of California Avenue.  The San Pablo Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda Accord.

A short while later, an officer with the Richmond Police department was alerted to the  stolen Honda Accord by the silent LoJack signal received with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the stolen Honda Accord was tracked to a residential area at Acacia Avenue and 7th Street, where the vehicle was found unoccupied, parked at the curb.

The undamaged, stolen Honda Accord was recovered by Richmond PD and the very grateful owner responded to the scene to retrieve their vehicle.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2017 Honda Accord in December of 2016 at Honda of El Cerrito, in El Cerrito, CA.
