This Ford Escape was stolen from the owner’s workplace located in the 4000 block of SW Alaska Street in Seattle, shortly after she parked it.

The theft was immediately reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

Later that same evening, the Federal Way Police Department officers equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) received the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford. They quickly tracked the Ford to a grocery store parking lot located in the 28000 block of Military Road South in Federal Way. Two suspects were in the Ford. A male escaped on foot and the female driver was placed under arrest.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Escape in July 2010 at Enterprise Car Sales in Renton, Washington.
