This Mercedes SLK55 AMG was stolen from a dealer in Seattle using fraudulent identification and credit information. When the fraud was discovered, it was reported to the Seattle Police Department. They verified the details of the purchase and fraud then entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mercedes.

Later that day, the Everett Police Department officers received the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mercedes on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that is installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, they located the Mercedes in the 1600 block of Florida Drive in Everett. One occupant in the Mercedes was arrested and booked into jail.

The LoJack® System was installed in this Mercedes SLK55 August 2014 at Park Place LTD in Bellevue, Washington, at the request of a prior owner.
