This Lexus RX450h SUV was stolen during the night from the owner’s residence located in the 2500 block of 37th Avenue Southwest in Seattle.  The owner left the door to the residence unlocked which allowed a burglar to enter the home and locate the keys to the Lexus.  When the theft was discovered, it was immediately reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.

Later that day, a Seattle PD officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lexus.  Following directional and audible cues the Lexus was located at NE 53rd Street and 7th Avenue NE.  One occupant in the Lexus was taken into custody and booked into jail.

The LoJack® System was installed in this Lexus RX450h in December 2007 at Lexus of Bellevue in Washington.
