The owners of a 2017 Ford F250 contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.  The owners are a dealership and they found the Ford missing during an inventory of their storage lot, which is on the top level of the parking garage of a casino in the 2400 block of North Rancho Dr.

A police officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

A short while later officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC the officers tracked the Ford to the parking lot of a strip mall in the 7100 block of west Craig.  The Ford was unoccupied and unharmed.  The Ford was recovered and towed to impound.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F250 in February 2017 at Team Ford in Las Vegas, Nevada.
