The owner of a 2015 Honda Civic contacted the Baltimore County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the 12000 block Tarragon Road in the Reistertown area of Baltimore County.  The Baltimore County PD Radio dispatched an officer from the Franklin Precinct to investigate the incident. The officer quickly arrived on location, interviewed the complainant and surveyed the area for the stolen Honda.  When the officer was unable to locate the Honda a stolen vehicle report was prepared. Investigation on the scene found that the Honda had been stolen with the keys. The officer then arranged for the stolen vehicle information to be entered into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda Civic.

A short while later, officers from the Baltimore City Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda Civic with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles and helicopters. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to the 6200 block Park Heights Avenue in the Park Heights area of Baltimore City. At this location, officers recovered the Honda and arrested the operator. Police also notified the owner of the vehicle recovery.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2015 Honda Civic in April 2015 at Hudson Honda in West New York, New Jersey.
