The owner of the Suzuki parked it by her house where she normally parks it.  this was in the Parkchester section of the Bronx, confines of the 48 precinct. She immediately called the New York Police Department of the 48 precinct to report the theft.

When the police arrived they took a written report for the theft.  this information was entered by the NYPD in the city, state and federal crime computer which automatically activated the LoJack® System in the stolen Suzuki.

A short while later the silent LoJack signal was picked up by the Bronx Auto Larceny Unit in the Bronx on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer in their vehicle. They tracked it to the area of a major league baseball team park in the Bronx.  There they found the motorcycle parked in a parking lot nearby the baseball stadium. They decided to stake the motorcycle out for a short while but were forced to cut the stakeout short due to a lack of manpower. The motorcycle was recovered in good condition with ignition damage only.

The owner was contacted and she was elated that her bike was recovered so quickly especially with only minor damage. She further stated that she was happy that when she bought the Suzuki it was equipped with the LoJack® System because she knew that if it wasn’t for LoJack it may never have been recovered at all.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R 750 at Two Wheel Corporation in February 2007 in Mineola, New York.
