The owner of a 2010 Kawasaki motorcycle contacted the Millville Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot where he works in Millville.

The Millville PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Kawasaki motorcycle.

A short while later, officers from the Bridgeton Township Police Department and the Millville PD picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Kawasaki with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Kawasaki to Main Street in the town of Fairton. The Kawasaki was not visible from the street so a search warrant was obtained to search the property for the stolen motorcycle. The motorcycle was located and recovered undamaged. In addition to the motorcycle the police recovered a large amount of illegal narcotics and several illegal firearms. As a result of the search warrant, the owner of the property was arrested.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2010 Kawasaki motorcycle in May 2011 at Manassas Honda Kawasaki Suzuki in Virginia.
