The owner of a 2010 Toyota Corolla contacted the Monroe Township Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. While the customer was away from home, someone broke into his home and when they left they took the customer’s Toyota.

The Monroe Township PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.
A short while later, detectives from the New Jersey State Police picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Toyota, with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the detectives tracked the Toyota to Polk Ave. in the City of Camden, where the vehicle was found parked. The Toyota was recovered undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2010 Toyota Corolla in May 2010 at Toyota of Turnersville in New Jersey.
