The owner of a 2015 Mercedes Benz C-Class contacted the Millville Police Department to report that while his vehicle was running to warm up in his driveway, the vehicle was stolen.

The Millville PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mercedes.

A short while later, officers from the Millville PD picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Mercedes with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Mercedes to West Main Street in Millville, where the vehicle was found parked. The Mercedes was recovered undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2015 Mercedes Benz C-Class in September 2014 at Mercedes Benz of Warwick in Rhode Island.
