The owners of a 2007 Mercedes Benz contacted the Salt Lake City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.
A police officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mercedes.

A short while later officers with the West Valley Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mercedes with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Mercedes to the area of 3100 W. and 3600 S. where the vehicle was recovered and returned to the very grateful owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in this Mercedes Benz in 2009 at Goudy Honda in Alhambra, California.
