The owners of a 2014 Ram 1500 contacted the New Orleans Police Department to report that they were notified by a LoJack Early Warning phone call that their Ram may have been stolen. They checked outside and found in fact it was stolen from in front their residence in the Florida area of New Orleans. The owner stated that around 2am he last saw his pickup truck parked in front the residence. It was about two hours later in was stolen. The owners stated they may have dropped the keys on the porch early in the night when entering the residence as both of their vehicles were stolen. The other vehicle did not have LoJack. Just two nights later at almost the same time the owner was alerted via LoJack Early Warning that his Ram 1500 was possibly stolen. Yes in fact it was stolen again before he could have the ignition reprogramed. Yes it was once again quickly recovered thanks to LoJack.
The New Orleans PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ram.

A short while later officers from the New Orleans PD and the Louisiana State Police picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ram 1500 with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Louisiana State Police and the NOPD tracked the Ram and found it parked on the city street not far from the neighborhood where it was stolen.

The owner was contacted by the officers and advised them their Ram 1500 had been recovered quickly in great shape via LoJack. The very happy owners met the officers later and were reunited with their Ram. They were happy that the Premier dealership recommended LoJack at the time they purchased their Ram.
