This Honda Civic was taken during the daylight hours from the owners’ residence located in the 18400 block of Killarney Circle in Monroe.

When the theft was discovered, it was reported to the Monroe Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

That same evening, a Washington State Patrol trooper picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Honda was located at another residence in Monroe.

Also recovered at the scene was a 1997 Honda Accord recently stolen from Monroe.

Suspect information was developed and will be investigated by the Monroe PD. The owner was called to the scene to take possession of the Honda.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Civic in July 2003 at Honda of Seattle, Washington.
