The managers of a new car dealership contacted the Pueblo Police Department to report that one of their new 50th Anniversary Edition Mustangs had been stolen from the lot during the night.  The key-fob for the car had been stolen from the dealership.  An officer verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mustang.

Fortunately for the dealership this Mustang had been Pre-Installed with LoJack.

A short while later officer’s with the Pueblo PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mustang with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers quickly located the Mustang.  The thieves had parked it in the parking lot of a retirement home obviously an unobtrusive location where they could return to it later.
