The owner of a 2006 Infiniti G35 contacted the Albuquerque Police Department to report the vehicle was stolen from his apartment complex parking lot in the Northwest Area Command.  The owner advised the keys might be inside of the Infiniti at the time of theft.  The Albuquerque PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

Within a short time of the activation, Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their marked and unmarked patrol vehicles.  Following the audible and directional cues from the PTC, the officers tracked and located the Infiniti to a residential neighborhood abandoned.  The Infiniti was recovered and will be released back to the owner.
