The owner of a 2006 Chrysler 300 contacted the Dallas Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. When the owner went to go to work in the morning, he found his Chrysler missing from the driveway.
The Dallas PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

Later, the Dallas PD helicopter picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their helicopter. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the helicopter tracked this stolen Chrysler to an apartment complex and directed patrol units to it. This stolen Chrysler was found abandoned in the parking lot. Officers are reviewing the video from the apartment complex to see if they can identify a suspect. The Chrysler was recovered in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler 300 in March 2007 by Platinum Lincoln Mercury in Dallas, Texas.
